These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of Skincare Edinburgh's Website, located at https://skincareedinburgh.co.uk.
By accessing this website, we assume you accept these terms and conditions. Do not continue to use Skincare Edinburgh if you do not agree to take all of the terms and conditions stated on this page.
1. Appointments & Bookings
Appointments can be booked online via the booking pages or directly via Phone / message / social media.
Full payment is required at the time of booking online, or at the appointment if booked through another method. Card and cash are both accepted as methods of payment at appointment.
All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by the salon.
2. Cancellations & No-Shows
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment time will not receive a refund.
Appointments cancelled more than 24 hours but less than 48 hours in advance may be rescheduled subject to availability or a 50% refund can be given.
Appointments cancelled more than 48 hours in advance can be rescheduled or a full refund given.
Failure to attend an appointment without notice will be treated as a no-show and charged in full.
3. Patch Tests & Medical Conditions
Certain treatments require a patch test at least 48 hours before your appointment.
It is your responsibility to inform us of any allergies, medical conditions, or recent skin treatments prior to your appointment.
The salon reserves the right to refuse treatment if it is unsafe to proceed.
4. Payments
Payments are accepted via the online booking page whereby payment can be made by debit or credit card.
Payments are also accepted at the appointment whether by credit/debit card or cash.
Gift vouchers are valid for 6 months from purchase and cannot be exchanged for cash.
5. Refunds & Complaints
Refunds are not given for completed treatments unless required by law.
If you are dissatisfied with your treatment, please contact us within 48 hours so we can investigate and, if appropriate, offer a remedy (e.g. re-treatment or partial refund).
6. Liability
Treatments are provided by a qualified and insured beauty therapist using professional-grade products.
The salon accepts no responsibility for adverse reactions if aftercare advice is not followed.
Personal belongings are the responsibility of the client at all times.
7. Children & Guests
For safety reasons, children under 12 and non-clients are not permitted in the treatment area.
8. Data Protection
Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy (see below).
Client data will not be shared with third parties without consent, unless required by law.
9. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Scotland.

Skincare Edinburgh(“we”, “us”, “our”) operates as an at-home beauty salon based in the UK. We are the Data Controller for your personal information under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR).

Health and allergy information relevant to your treatments
Photos (only if consented to for treatment records or marmarketing
Payment details (processed securely via our payment provider (Stripe and SumUp) we do not store card data).

Client records are retained for 7 years after the last appointment (insurance requirement).
Marketing consent can be withdrawn at any time.

Equipment is sanitised between clients and disposable items are used where appropriate.

Clients agree to follow all post-treatment advice provided verbally or in writing.
