Where is the salon located?

We are an at-home salon located at 38 Redcroft Road, Danderhall, Dalkeith, EH22 1FQ. We are just a short distance from Edinburgh city centre, offering a quiet and private escape from the busy city crowds

Is there parking available?

Yes, as we are located in a residential area, there is usually ample street parking available nearby, making your visit stress-free. We even usually have one driveway space available too.

How much do treatments cost?

Our pricing varies depending on which treatment you choose ranging from £12 to £45. We offer a variety of options to fit your needs and budget. Please visit our treatments page for more info.

Do you offer FREE consultations?

Yes! We believe skincare is a journey. We offer a FREE consultation where we analyse your skin type and concerns to create a bespoke treatment plan just for you. There is no obligation to continue with us after your FREE consultation.

Can I use public transport to get to the salon?

Yes! We are located a 2 minute walk from Shawfair Hospital bus stop and a 5 minute walk from Sheriffhall Park & Ride bus stop. We are also a 15-20 minute walk from Shawfair Train Station which is on the Tweedbank line. Use bus services 33 or 46, 48 or X33 to get to us.

How often should I get a facial?

For long-term results, consistency is key. We typically recommend a facial every 4–6 weeks to align with your skin’s natural renewal cycle. However, during your consultation, Gohar will design a maintenance plan tailored to your specific skin goals.

Will I peel visibly after a "Gentle Radiance Peel"?

Our Gentle Radiance Peels are designed to delicately encourage cellular turnover rather than cause aggressive shedding. While some clients may experience mild flaking as dead skin lifts away, the primary goal is to smooth texture and brighten tone without significant downtime.

Lash & Brow Treatments

Do I need a Patch Test?

Yes, for your safety, a patch test is required at least 48 hours before any tinting or lamination service to ensure you don't have an allergic reaction to the products. If you refuse a Patch Test, we unfortunately cannot treat you as we will not be insured.

What is Lash & Brow Lamination?

Lamination is like a "perm" for your lashes or brows. It structures the hairs to keep them in a desired shape—giving you a lifted, fuller look that lasts for weeks without the need for daily makeup application.
